Destacada actuación de Macías y Jais en XCO

Se reunieron este martes con el secretario de Deportes.

Tras participar exitosamente en la 1ra fecha del Abierto Argentino de mountain bike, en la modalidad de Cross Country Olímpico (XCO), que tuvo lugar en Balcarce (Buenos Aires), el santamariano Álvaro Macías y Hernán Jais se reunieron este con el secretario de Deportes de la Provincia, Exequiel Díaz Elena.

La visita tuvo por finalidad comentarle la actuación que tuvieron en la apertura de la temporada nacional biker, donde los dos deportistas cumplieron destacadas tareas y se subieron al podio.

Macías, en la ocasión, se impuso en la general de la competencia y se adjudicó la categoría Élite, siendo la figura de la jornada; en tanto que Jais se destacó haciendo podio al clasificarse en el tercer puesto en la categoría Master A.

Los dos deportistas, además, informaron su calendario en la temporada 2024 con participaciones a nivel nacional, regional e internacional.
